How do you register a company in georgia?
All companies must be registered with the National Agency of Public Registry of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.
The application for registration must be submitted together with all necessary documents including the Charter of incorporation. The application must be signed by the partners or their representatives. Otherwise, the application for registration must be certified by the notary.
Types of business entities
Georgian legislation allows for several types of legal personality:
- Limited Liability Company (LLC);
- Joint Stock Company (JSC);

Together with the application for registration, the following documents must be submitted:
- Identity document of the founder translated and notarized. In case of registering the company through the legal representative, the representative’s identity document must also be submitted.

- The lease contract of an office, confirming the fiscal domicile.

Steps for company registration in Georgia
